Shifts: mid-afternoons and evenings M-F; mid-mornings and early evenings weekends.

We are looking for Part Time - Full Time Visitation Facilitators in the Spokane County area.

Job Summary:

The Visitation Facilitator is responsible for transporting children to and from their foster home or other designated location to the visit location; the supervision of children and parents during court ordered visitation; to ensure nurturing and developmentally appropriate interactions occur in a safe environment while maintaining both visual and auditory supervision of the family. Visitation Facilitators model appropriate parenting and intervention techniques for all clients and provide community resources as needed. The Visitation Facilitator is also responsible for accurate, non-subjective documentation of all interactions between the parent and child during the visit and will submit reports to supervisor within contractual and agency timelines.

Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older
• Minimum of High school diploma or GED; AND eighteen (18) months documented experience working with children and families in the following settings:
  • Daycare or family home setting as a childcare provider; or
  • School setting; or
  • A child placing agency, residential care program, or as a licensed foster parent; or
  • Conducting supervised visits; or
  • Working as staff directly with children and families in a community service organization such as, but not limited to, the YMCA, a scouting organization, or sports program.

Licensing and Certifications:

• TB Test: Within 7 days of first day of employment
• Covid-19 Vaccination: this position requires proof of vaccination
• Currently have or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid certification
• Must have and maintain a clear criminal history and background check
• Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record
• Current driver license, car, and car insurance
