Morgan Stanley & Co., LLC seeks a Vice President in New York, New York
Cover US equity securities lending products. Understand trading systems and booking flows. Develop automated analytics to improve business making decisions. Interact with brokers and clients.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $215,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Director, Manager, Associate, Analyst, or a closely related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with: working in a Finance or Accounting department at a global financial institution; financial accounting systems; PnL Reporting systems; accounting methods and treatments including IFRS and GAAP; funds transfer pricing implementation and management; interacting with Trading desks, Controllers, Operations and Technology departments across locations including the United Kingdom, Japan, and India; equity securities including stocks, options and swaps; repo and funding structures; securities lending products; liquidity frameworks and cash usage attribution; Access; Microsoft Office Suite; VBA. Requires two (2) years of experience with: developing analytics and reporting to drive trading decisions; global project management implementing change across North America, Europe, and Asia; review and development of efficient booking models across global businesses; bond securities including treasuries, Euro Bonds, and corporates; collateral management and derivatives margin; Tableau. Requires Certifications: Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA).
