Qualified candidates must be able to:

· Provide consistent quality customer service to every client & patient

· Multi-task in a fast-paced working environment

· Being attentive to client & patient needs.

· Maintain a high level of organization and communication

· Answer all incoming calls using excellent telephone etiquette

· Perform clerical & record-keeping duties

· Be computer literate (we are a paperless practice)

Veterinary Receptionist - Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Accurately process invoices & payments when services are rendered

· Appropriately schedule appointments

· Answering phone calls with multiple phone lines.

· Scheduling appointments & procedures.

· Check-in / out patients.

· Monitoring client flow from check-in to complete.

· Managing record requests between other hospitals & specialty practices.

· Processing payment transactions.

· Maintaining &scanning proper documentation in the electronic medical record.

· Relaying appropriate information to/from clients to doctors &/or management.

Veterinary Technicians - Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Recognizes & records any unusual condition or abnormal behavior of any hospitalized animal; observes animals recovering from anesthesia;

· Feeds each animal as prescribed by the attending D.V.M. & records appetites.

· Receives animals to be admitted for hospital care & is responsible for their proper identification and for recording their respective locations;

- Dispensing medication which the doctor has prescribed.

· Assisting with x-rays.

· Assisting with the dog walking, cage cleaning & general hospital cleaning.

· Throughout the day, check on in-patients & report any abnormalities to doctor.
