The VB Desk Top Developer will review, analyze, and modify applications including coding, testing, debugging, and installing to support the development of manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities: Develops applications and reports that automate specific business processes by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.

• Consults with departments to analyze and understand functions to be automated, needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements.
• Assist in creating business applications leveraging, MS SQL, SSRS, ASP.NET (VB), .Net technologies and integrating .Net technologies with the internal ERP system while utilizing established company protocols.
• Update company’s dynamic internet site focusing on customer portals.
• Writes and maintains functional and technical specifications. Builds help documents for applications and maintains in code procedure level documentation. Reviews documentation written by others that describes installation and operating procedures.
• Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirm program meets specifications. Assists with and tests upgrades of externally developed application programs.
• Trains end users and technical support staff to use programs. Monitors feedback regarding performance of programs after implementation.

Requirements and Technical Skills –

• Must have experience with development in VB.Net, ASP.NET, and SQL Server queries.
• Minimum Associates degree
• Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
