Central States Bus Sales is currently seeking a Seasonal Utility/Camera Installer for our Oswego, IL location. This position is responsible for performing semi-skilled and skilled work relating to the maintenance and parts for equipment and vehicles.

No nights or weekends!

Responsibilities/Duties include:

• Detail and prep new and used buses for customer pick-up or delivery
• Install and maintain dealer installed components (i.e. audio-visual equipment, electronic radios, heaters)
• Operate motorized and light equipment including pickup truck, pallet jack, pallet lift, and various hand and power tools
• Change oil and filters in company vehicles and customer vehicles
• Clean facilities and perform routine maintenance to automotive repair equipment
• Assist in tire and mechanical repairs
• Assist in mechanical, sandblasting, painting, cleanup, and simple automotive work
• Pick up vehicle parts from vendors
• Deliver and pick up vehicles for service
• Assist in the shipping and receiving of parts in the warehouse
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six (6) months formal work experience performing basic automotive maintenance duties
• Valid driver?s license
• Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work activities
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and safety procedures
• Ability to operate pallet jack and pallet lift
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques used in the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of equipment and vehicles
• Knowledge of occupational hazards related to mechanical repairs
• Skill in operating motorized equipment and various hand, pneumatic and power tools
