General Responsibilities:

• Verify, code and process service provider invoices for payment.
• Receive vendor invoices and identify cost allocation.
• Verify vendor invoices for accuracy of charges by matching to costing identified in respective company’s register.
• Code vendor invoice with appropriate identifiers by transaction type.
• Ensure all vendor invoices have proper authorizations per company guidelines prior to processing.
• Process payments and obtain signatures as per company guidelines.
• Prepare and process payment for US Customs Entry.
• Verify accuracy of customs charges per broker invoice.
• Ensure shipping documents and classification of product are accurate.
• Communicate to broker any discrepancies for prompt resolution prior to payment processing.
• Process employee business and travel expenses in a timely manner.
• Verify expenses, coding and proper signatures.
• Assist in special projects and assignments as required.
• Record revenue by verifying and posting cash receipts.
• Vessel Finalization – collect and validate data by ocean vessels for price finalization with supplier and customs entries reconciliation.
• Support the company’s continuous improvement programs.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

Skills Requirements:

• Work experience and knowledge of accounts payable processing.
• Past or current experience with SAP is a preference.
• Experience and proficiency with MS Office Applications Suite (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Organizational Skills and Detail Oriented.

Education:

Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or a related field.
