Position Overview
M.Ed International Connect is looking for cohorts of Certified Nursing Assistants (five CNAs) as part of a pool of nurses, CNAs, and LPNs to be placed at client locations throughout the Twin Cities. These are mainly first shift positions; however, second and third shifts are available. These cohort of nurses, CNAs, LPNs will travel together as a cohort and remain at any given location for long-term, contracted for one-month at a time. The CNAs are employed through M.Ed International AND ELIGIBLE FOR BENEFITS AS DEFINED BELOW.
Position Information
Title: Pool Agency Certified Nursing Assistant
Supervisor: Chief Operating Officer
Hours: 40 hours, eligible for overtime pay
Location: Twin Cities
Salary Range:
- $20/hour, benefits eligible, eligible for overtime pay
- $22/hour, no benefits, eligible for overtime pay
- $25/hour, weekend (Saturdays/Sundays)
Job Responsibilities may include the following:
· Provide activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients
· Provide adjunct care by administering enemas, douches, non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz and therapeutic baths
· Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility
· Preparing each patient room with necessary items
· Support patients with eating and taking medications
· Support the RN with requests
· Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine and recording intake and output information
· Provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to RN
· Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
· Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures
· Create and safe environment for patients and employees
· Protect organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential
· Serve and protect the health facilities by adhering to professional standards, policies and participating in professional organizations and maintaining licensure

- Paid holidays include: New Years Day, JFK Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Two Floating Holidays that can be used for other culturally celebrated holidays throughout the year (working holidays = 1.5 pay)
Job Qualifications
● Required CNA certification with the MN Board of Nursing Registry
● Minimum age of 16
● CPR/First Aid Certification
● Ability to lift, move, carry up to a minimum of 50 pounds
● Good communication skills – verbal, writing, and reading
