Job Description: Ultrasound Tech

Shift/Hours:

· Day shift is 7:45am-4:15pm

· Weekend Shift 7:00am-7:30pm Fri-Sun

· Full-time

Weekend Requirement:

· Sat-Sun, Weekend rotation every 4 weeks.

Holiday Requirement:

· Rotating.

On-Call Requirement: 1 Day per week, 30 min call time, no call rooms.

Responsibilities:

· Performs high-quality Ultrasound procedures within the scope of state licensure at a technical and professional level that does not require direct supervision. Performs appropriate patient evaluation and uses proper technical factors for diagnostic image production.

· Department Description:

The Diagnostic Imaging teams at Samaritan Health Services use state-of-the-art imaging technology while providing health care teams with the information needed for a fast, accurate diagnosis. Imaging services include X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound services. We now offer PET-CT scans, the latest in diagnostic imaging technology and one of the most powerful imaging tools that physicians can use to help diagnose and treat patients with cancer and other diagnoses.

Must Haves:

License: N/A

Experience: New graduates accepted

Certification: BLS, ARDMS credentials (or equivalent) in Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties required.

Degree: associate in applied science – Allied Health Science

Plusses: 2 years of Recent Experience (Vascular, Non-Vascular, Breast, OB), Or 1 year experience preferred in abdomen and OB/GYN exams. Prefer Vascular Registry, in addition. May consider Tech level 1 candidates with ARRT or ARDMS registry with one year of clinical experience. MFM preferred.

Patient Population: Rotate between clinic and Inpatient/Outpatient – Vascular, Non-Vascular, Breast, OB

Tech to Patient Ration: 1:1

Pay: $43.75 - $58.66 per hour
