What qualifications you will need:
- Current state licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners as an RN.
- Graduate from accredited school of nursing required.
- 2-3 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification
SCOPE AND COMPLEXITY:
- The scope requires the incumbent to have specialized knowledgeable in cardiology. This position interacts with physicians, patients, families, and external contacts, such as employees of other health care institutions, community providers and agencies, concerning the health care of the patient. Demonstrates professional behavior and conduct in all interactions.
- This position assists providers with patient care in an ambulatory care setting by managing patients post operatively and leading emergency events
