Description
SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION:
Manage parking operations and administration for both employees and visitors at Uptown campus. Provide input, direction, and support for parking efforts at satellite locations. Develop, manage, direct, and manage shuttle route and transportation operations for employees and visitors. Plans and coordinates fleet operations; including acquisition, scheduling, maintenance service, repair, fueling, and disposal of hospital vehicles. Manages and directs grounds team in performance and maintenance of grounds including turf, beds, sidewalks, parking lots, garages and snow removal.
SCOPE:
Requires skills developed through formal training and work experience. Works under moderate supervision. Works within clearly defined procedures; limited deviation from standard processes.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform routine vehicle maintenance and cleaning. Report related safety concerns to supervisor immediately.
Shuttle: Periodically operate a Cincinnati Children's Shuttle Bus/vehicle in a safe and timely manner for repairs to be made or as a stand-by driver.
Inspections and Compliance: Assist with annual State Bus Inspections and License renewals. Comply with all Department of Transportation Regulations involved within the Commercial Driver Licensure.
Training: Attend job-related training sessions, including Defensive Driver Training. Develop knowledge and professional skills through cross training, literature and attendance at departmental meetings. Maintain currency in the field through continuing education, literature and seminars. Implement this knowledge into the department.

- 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
