We are currently seeking eight (8) highly motivated Traffic Data Collectors to join the Traffic Engineering Division of our Public Works department. Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Work with minimum supervision.
• Follow oral, written and drawn instructions.
• Establish and maintain harmonious relationships with others.
• Relate to the general public in a positive manner.
• Possession of a valid driver's license. New employees establishing resident status in the State of Oregon must obtain an Oregon driver's license within 30 days (ORS 807.020 (1)).
• Maintain acceptable driving record.
• Completion of a background investigation to the satisfaction of the City.

Available Schedule:

• Tuesday - Thursday, up to 7 hours a day

The anticipated hiring range for the Traffic Data Collector position is $16.31 (first step) to $17.12 (second step). Directly related experience and qualifications will be evaluated alongside others who perform work of comparable character as required by Pay Equity Law. Three steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
