Zing Recruiting in partnership with a prominent Automotive client in Fountain Inn, SC area seeking a Tool and Die Maker to join their team. The perfect candidate will have experience with building and repairing tools, dies, fixtures and jigs in a Metal Stamping environment. If you have the required experience, I encourage you to apply!

Tool and Die Maker Summary:

• $34.50/HR Based on Experience
• Full Time/Direct Hire
• 3rd Shift 11:30PM – 7:45 AM
• Benefits: Paid vacation (two weeks) paid holidays, Full Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and life insurance

Responsibilities:

• Building or repairing all types, sizes, and shapes of tools, dies, fixtures, and jigs.
• Assemble and tryout complex tools and dies on manufacturing equipment as required for production.
• Reads and interprets blueprints.
• Troubleshooting
• Tear down, repairs and reassembles tooling.
• Plans the setup and operation of all types of machine shop tools.

Education & Experience:

• High school Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 3 to 5 years related experience and /or training.
• Metal Stamping
• Journeyman’s card preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $34.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Overnight shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fountain Inn, SC 29644: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Repairing tools, dies, fixtures, and jigs: 5 years (Preferred)
• Blueprint reading: 5 years (Preferred)
• Tear down, repairs and reassembles tooling: 5 years (Preferred)
• Metal Stamping: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Journeyman License (Preferred)
