Seneca Resources is in need of a Test Engineer for the Air Force Modernization effort. Testing will be conducted in the field. The applicant must have the ability to work at Peterson Air Force base. Active Secret Clearance is a requirement for this role. Please note clearance level on resume.
Job Responsibilities:

• Work with System and application engineers to update test plans and procedures to meet contractual requirements
• Execute System Acceptance and Qualification test cases with customer oversight
• Prepare and present test case reports in a standard contractual report format
• Report defects and assist in their understanding
• Analyze test results and track testing metrics
• Host Test Readiness review meetings with the customer
• Track limitations (outstanding issues) through resolution
• Analyze and recommend automated test tools that could potentially add value to any or all of the test types
• Develop plans that includes test execution tasks, duration, resources and dependencies
• Create and track other testing documentation
• Apply lessons learned for ongoing quality improvement

Skills:

• Must be strong individual performer
• Must have a solid testing background with experience in developing testing collateral, executing testing and managing testing in an Information Technology environment
• Must have “client presence” and the ability to articulate problems and solutions in business relevant terminology
• Must be comfortable working in a virtual team environment when not centrally located
• Must be detail oriented
• DoD 8570 compliant

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required.
• 2-4 years experience required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
