THE OPPORTUNITY
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering
- Strong technical writing skills with a focus on clarity and accuracy (we are looking for articles such as those found here https://www.baeldung.com/)
- Java or Golang backend application development experience. The content you'll be writing will have to be accompanied by code as examples, so engineering experience is crucial
- Ability to provide examples of your past writing (ideally online)
Experience with software development, testing, and validation
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with version control and documentation tools

What you’ll be working on
Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Writer with a strong software engineering background to join the team. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for our product, Netflix Conductor. The ideal candidate will have experience in software engineering and be able to try, test, and validate the parts they are writing the documentation for.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the engineering team to understand the product and its features
Write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for Netflix Conductor
Test and validate the documentation by using the product

Ensure that the documentation is up-to-date with the latest product changes and
releases
Manage the documentation release process, including publishing and version control

Collaborate with the product management team to ensure that the documentation aligns
with the product roadmap and customer needs
Continuously improve the documentation quality and user experience
