Technical Support Quality/EHS Coordinator
Position Overview
Shaw Industries is looking for a Quality/EHS Coordinator. This position is responsible for reviewing and researching customer claims to determine the responsible party to resolve the claim. The Quality /EHS Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in managing LIMS, AODocs and the Internal Audit Process. This position will also act as a safety leader in the facility, constantly seeking ways to improve safety and increase associate awareness of safety by utilizing safety committees, company programs, and developing creative solutions. Experience with formal or informal training (coachin/mentoring) along with MS Office skills required.

Responsibilities
- Work as liaison between Financial Services and manufacturing to determine proper resolution for customer claims
- Laboratory Information Management system (LIMS) power user with administrator capabilities for the Central Lab
- Train technicians on how to do monthly inspections of all safety equipment/supplies and monitor that all tasks are completed on the required basis
- Be certified on safety programs and train associates as needed (Lift Truck, Respirator, CPR, etc.)

Be an AODocs Administrator responsible for reviewing, revising and uploading procedures
- Lead Quarterly Internal Audits and issue Corrective Actions
- Audit Technicians on test methods
- Responsible for sending out quarterly e-Learning and track completion for all associates
- Be certified on safety programs and train associates as needed (Lift Truck, Respirator, CPR, etc.)
Qualifications
- Must be proficient in Glink, LIMS, AODocs, M365 platform, as well as a working knowledge of all required systems for Quality and Safety
- Must be willing to participate in Safety training programs for supervisory/management skills
- High School Diploma/GED required; associate degree preferred
- Must be able to make an unbiased decision to resolve claims, ability to distinguish between color, judgement in sharing sensitive information and clear communication. These abilities and skills are used daily
- Training experience, formal or informal, required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs & stand/sit for long periods of time
- Occassional travel for offsite meetings required
