BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Project Technical Manager to join our Program Management Office in support of the Air and Space Force Solutions, Strategic Systems, Information Services (IS) team at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, where we are working to deliver world-class capabilities for our client and associated contractors, and help drive productivity and innovation.

In this role you will oversee and manage technical project(s) and serve as a liaison between the Program Management Office, our government customer, and our technical teams. You will prepare project execution plans and identify technical and business resources needed, review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. You will also assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives while providing technical and analytical guidance to project team. Other responsibilities include:

• Meeting often with primary contacts within the government to understand needs and direction of the program
• Assisting customers in the development of current and future IT system requirements. Evaluate plans and criteria for technical activities and recommend alternatives as required to comply with customer and company obligations
• Modeling and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security
• Ensuring achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives
• Conducting research in areas which require a high level of expertise and knowledge in areas of specialization and some related fields. Maintain knowledge in area of specialization and awareness of developments in the remaining related fields, including extensive contributions to proposal efforts when requested by management
• Directing project activities or segments of major projects responsible for achievement of schedule, cost, and technical performance objectives. Prepare project execution plan and identify technical and business resources needed
• Reviewing status of projects, manage schedules and prepare status reports. Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives
• Performing other duties as assigned

Required experience/education:
10+ years of related IT or Program Management experience with no technical degree, or
7+ years of related IT or Program Management experience with a BA/BS degree, or
5+ years of related IT or Program Management experience with a MS degree
