We are looking for a Technical Focal Point (TFP) for Directed Energy (DE) with a Top Secret Clearance to join our team in Rosslyn, VA!

As a TFP for DE, you will:

A week in the life of a TFP for DE:

• Track technology developments within the field of DE. They will also track the viability of the Industrial Base (IB) supporting DE.
• Responsible for maintaining, updating and coordinating review of the Technology Area Protection Plan (TAPP) for DE as well as for the Technology Industrial Base (TIB) Appendix for DE.
• Contribute proposal abstracts, recommendations and/or requests for funding to help Promote and Protect (P&P) elements of the DE TIB.
• Produce and/or review or edit documents or sections of documents designed for high level DoD or congressional audiences. The documents will address the current state of the DE TIB.
• Participate in the review of Committee for Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) cases and coordinate responses among other DE stakeholder offices.
• Participate in the review of export control cases and offer recommendations when DE related cases arise.
• Develop Statements of Work and help facilitate the transfer of funds in order to retain outside agency support of the development of Industrial Base Assessments for DE related technologies.
• Participate in DE related working groups and inform TIIB leadership of pending issues and status.
• May be called on to assist TIIB leadership in the planning of DE TIB-related events or conferences.
• Participate in weekly meetings and provide Monthly Status Reports. The TFP will need to stay current on all required training required from DoD and American Systems.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
