Technical Document Administrator - Full Time - Pasadena (TX), United States

Join our Services_AME team within Services division in United States as Technical Document Administrator to help us take Sulzer to the next level.
In this role you will be accountable for:
Field Engineering:
- Create new CAD models/drawings
- Upload models/drawings into Drawing Vault systems
- Standard and Power User functions in ERP systems
- Train employees on ERP and Drawing Vault systems
- Rescan old drawings (PDX Function)
- Find missing performance curves and rescan them (PDX Function)
- Find information on pumps for other regions of Sulzer
- Answer questions form Sales and Parts Department
- Special requests such as create a parts list for customer
Customer Training:
- Create / Review quotes for training sessions
- Create new customer accounts
- Create new vendor accounts
- Create sales order numbers for each student/company
- Create invoices for each student/company
- Process credit card transactions
- Approve shipping charges in ERP system
- Communicate with customer about POs and Invoices
- Create certificates of individual students
- Support training activities with information as needed
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Degree or relevant qualification in Mechanical or hydraulic engineering
- Minimum 5 Years of relevant experience within pump industry
- Knowledge of pump design, application, and selection
- Knowledge of general pump upgrades
- Technical report and proposal writing skills
- Must have good organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently
