The Litchfield School District is seeking applicants for a Special Education Teacher / Case Manager at Campbell High School.

This special education teacher will work with students who spend 60% of their day scheduled in the resource room. The student population is of ages 14-22, who are below grade level due to challenges in intellectual ability, academic skills, language/communication skills, adaptive behavior, and developmental delays impacting social and emotional functioning. Special educator to teach functional life skills, transition needs, executive function skills, social skills, emotional regulation as well as increased advocacy skills that all lead toward increased student independence. Students who attend this resource program have needs outside of the general educational curriculum and can attend until reaching the age of 22 years.

The Special Education Teacher will perform the duties required by NH RSA186-C and which are a direct result of a student’s needs for a Individualized Education Plan. The Special Education Teacher will work collaboratively with subject area teachers to assist students in learning appropriate curriculum and skills.
