You’ve been looking for a new CPA firm that’ll offer you remote / hybrid working opportunities, but every advert you see offering remote options is with the bigger firms and you just can’t see yourself in one of the big nationals.

How about a fully remote position with a 12-person firm, based just outside Boston? They’ve got a fabulous office that you’re welcome to travel to whenever suits. Of the current staff, a handful are based there full time (it’s just their preference). It’s totally up to you though – you can go there as often or as little as you like. Remote / Hybrid working was embraced by the Partners at the start of Covid and they’ve got no intention of changing things any time soon.

The position we’re supporting them recruit is a Senior Tax Associate.

Your first 12 months (this could be less, depending on how much experience you have) will be focussed on preparation of individual returns, which will passed on for review. In your second year, you’ll get the chance to handle the client interaction too – you’ll handle everything from start to finish.

It’s a broad focused position. You certainly won’t be stuck in a niche like often happens with the bigger firms. You’ll get a broad range of clients to work with. Many of your clients will be local to Massachusetts, but you’ll also have clients in New Zealand, South America and Europe.

The position would suit someone with 2-3 years’ experience in Public Accounting, with experience in individual taxes.
