This a Ten-Week course that is designed to develop the skill sets necessary for dealing the game of craps.
Training Pay –

• $10/hour

Expected Pay once on the gaming floor:

• $8/hour + tips (Average Tips $34.82/hour)

After the first two weeks, training pay begins
Class details:
Each selected applicant will attend class, gaining skill sets necessary to operate tables on the gaming floor (including the game of craps).

• Anticipated Start Date : - 6/5/2023

• End Date: - 8/11/2023

• Class Times: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Days: MON, TUE, WED, THU

General Class Information

• Selected applicants will be hired and required to attend the full class.

• Each student will be required to pass physical and written skills test for each module of the class.

• Each student will have two attempts to pass each test.

• Failure to pass either a written or physical test may result in reevaluation of employment or reassignment to a Non-Table Games Department.

• Upon successful completion of the course, applicants will be able to select/bid from available craps dealer schedules.

• Applicants must attend every class and conduct themselves in a professional manner.

• Students will be hired during this week

• Class will be held MON – FRI.

• Each student will attend 3 classes this week

• Class subjects:

• Pass line, come bets, put bets and hard ways

• Week 4

• Normal class days of the week will resume

• Class subjects:

• Place bets, buy bets, 1-way bets

• Week 5

• Class subjects

• Place bets continued, and 2-way bets

• Mid-Term Examination

• Students will have two attempts to pass the Midterm Examination

• Week 6

• Class Subjects:

• Don’t pass and 2-way bets

• Week 7

• Class Subjects:

• DC bets and 3-way bets

• Week 8

• 4-way bets and bonus bet

• Week 9

• 5-way bets

• Week 10 (additional weeks may be required for review of skill sets)

• Full game review

Table Games Dealer Job Description
Primary Tasks:

• Serve and entertain Guests while enforcing the rules and maintaining the integrity of the game.

• Analyze customer play, protecting against cheating scams, and unusual or suspicious variations of play.

• Review and communicate table game activities with supervisors and managers.

• Answer Guest inquiries regarding general gaming procedures, payouts, etc.

• Clean work area as designated by management

• Verify identification of customers when needed.

• Sign and date all paperwork as required.

• Provide excellent customer service skills and communication skills.

• Other duties as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:
MINIMUM

• Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions, or conversions)

• Apply oral or written communication techniques

• Must be highly customer focused and maintain a positive atmosphere and be friendly and informative as needed.

• Strong hand-eye coordination
