This is an on-site position working out of our Ball Ground Georgia Plant. We have been in business for over 160 years and have over 1,000 employees! We are currently doing well. Over the last 2 years, we have increased our headcount by 12% in our engineering group.

What You Will Be Doing
Ensures compliance with appropriate regulatory standards and assists in efforts to secure product and system approvals.
Works with Engineering on new product releases and changes to develop regulatory plans.
Works with appropriate teams to develop technical files.
Performs and coordinates internal and external audits/training to ensure continuing compliance with QHSEMS Standards and the manufacture of safe products.
Works with supply chain team to maintain required supplier information for the QHSEMS.
Performs supplier audits, as needed.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
Works with Engineering on new product releases and changes to develop regulatory plans.

What You Need for this Position
Experience working with mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills essential.
Strong written and presentation skills, encompassing report writing, procedure manuals, and presenting information in an effective and interactive manner.
Proficiency with MS Office.
Working knowledge in some or all of DOT, Transport Canada, EN, ASME, AAR and ASTM standards, is desirable.
Experience in process improvement, supplier quality assurance, welding of ferrous metals, destructive and non-destructive examinations, and supervision, a plus.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills essential.

Proficiency with MS Office.
