Position Overview

Responsible for working as member of a leadership team which provides children’s puppet shows in the parks throughout June and July. Playground Leaders act as positive role models while planning and leading mobile puppet shows. General program hours are Tuesday and Thursday mornings for 5-10 hours per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide a safe, fun and appropriate experience for program viewers.

2. Assists in the planning, organizing, and implementation of children’s puppet shows.

3. Fosters a creative and inclusive environment for audiences.

4. Follow program policies and procedures.

5. Attends and participates in all staff trainings and meetings.

Expected Hours of Work

Typical work hours are hours are Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9am – 12pm.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Must be 15 years of age or older.

2. Ability to relate with children successfully.

3. Available to work June and July without requests for extended time off.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $13.28 - $15.84 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
