Adventure awaits you at JCPRD Summer Camp! As a Summer Camp Lead Counselor, you will:

• Challenge our next generation with fun and stimulating games, sports, and arts!
• Plan and facilitate opportunities to explore environmental awareness, fitness, health, STEM, creativity, and innovation

What we need from you:

• Dependability and responsibility
• To serve as a positive role model for children
• Minimum age 18
• One year experience working with 5-12 year old children.

Days: M-F, Hours: 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Approximately 40 hours per week

Outdoor Locations: Antioch Park, 6501 Antioch Road, Merriam, KS 66202

Heritage Park, 16050 Pflumm Road, Olathe, KS 66062

Shawnee Mission Park, 79th & Renner Road, Shawnee, KS 66219

Stoll Park, 12500 West 119th Street, Overland Park, KS

Indoor Locations: Various schools in the Shawnee Mission, Olathe, Gardner and De Soto School Districts.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of age appropriate activities for K-6. Supervise other counselors as assigned to site. One year experience with children. Minimum age 18.

Criminal history background check required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour
