Hello, we are looking for a summer staff member for our team! Perfect for experienced babysitters/nannies who love working with children and have a love for nature.

Do you have a background in child development, experience working with children, and a love for nature? We are looking for a compassionate and hard-working Forest Guide for our River’s Edge summer camps. Forest Guides have the opportunity to make a positive impact in children’s lives while promoting all areas of development as they explore, play, and thrive in the natural setting!

Dates needed: June 19 to August 18

Times: 8:30am-4:30pm M-F

Location: West River, MD

• Opportunity to work with preschool and school age children as they connect with nature, self, and others through our 100% outdoor summer programs
• Ideal for students or individual looking to gain deeper knowledge of child development through hands-on meaningful experience
• Guide will have opportunity to facilitate camp themed activities that lead children into free play
• “No bad weather, only bad gear!” Guides are trained to endure all types of weather and come prepared (other than dangerous conditions)

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Childcare: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
