About the Role:
The Strategy Analyst will develop consolidated market intelligence to facilitate greater transparency to core market category, customer, and consumer insights at all levels of the organization and across functions. Support TreeHouse corporate initiatives related to acquisitions and strategy. Performs analysis on information such as market size, category attractiveness, competitive analysis, potential acquisitions, company, and industry performance. Includes data gathering, synthesis and communication of information, financial analysis including ability to create financial models to analyze and evaluate potential acquisitions. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Provide data and analysis for the Treehouse Strategy Team projects, ranging from category-specific questions to major initiatives from the Chief Strategy Officer, CEO, and other senior executives.
- Provide portfolio-level syndicated data support to corporate team on ad-hoc projects, as well as analytical support to the broader strategy and division teams on the day to day projects; due diligence of potential acquisition targets, and 3 year planning process and opportunity identification.
- Provide support in the identification of emerging industry and marketplace trends; synthesize to key insights and communicate implications to TreeHouse leadership; other ad-hoc analysis and support- e.g. financial analysis and annual planning,
- Provide macroeconomics and industry content for core external communication vehicles (e.g. quarterly earnings call, Board of Directors letter, Investor Relations presentation).
- Refresh portfolio-level syndicated data, market intelligence, and macroeconomic trend reporting packages for TreeHouse leadership (e.g. Executive IRI report, TreeHouse Board reports, retail heat sheets, quarterly NARG update, earnings calls).
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and Board of Directors, e.g. quarterly earnings calls, Board of Director Meetings and industry conferences.
- The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list of all tasks. Additional tasks and duties may be assigned from time to time as necessitated by business needs.

About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Finance or Engineering.
- Skilled in creating and managing reports in traditional and custom data packages
- Ability to translate disparate data points into a cohesive set of insights
- ability to distill various sources of information into actionable insights, with a focus on the implications to TreeHouse.
- communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and must develop materials and formats that translate across a wide range of functional audiences.
- Effectively communicate analysis to senior leadership team and functional leads
- Develop document formats that effectively translate across several functional audiences
- Drive alignment across functions to form internally consistent view of market and industry trends
- Manage several work streams across multiple functions with tight completion timelines; provide support to the broader Strategy team to ensure that key analytics are accomplished during peak times
- Self-starter with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and continuous improvement mindset and learning agility
- Acute attention to detail
- Strong financial modeling skills
- MS Office, Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- 0-2 years of work experience, preferably with background in CPG, consulting, finance, or another analytical field is a plus but not a prerequisite. All candidates must be able to demonstrate interest in the industry and an ability to quickly get up to speed
