Job description

We are seeking to fill an open Staff Attorney position in our East End Bureau. The position is based out of our Main Street Riverhead Office but involves travel between various North and South Fork local courts as well as to the Riverhead and Yaphank Correctional Facilities to visit incarcerated clients. Applicants should be prepared to handle a misdemeanor caseload of a wide array of charges, including domestic violence and driving while intoxicated cases, from arraignment through disposition/trial. Additionally, applicants may be required to represent clients on pre-indictment felonies. They are expected to work well independently, and as part of a team.

Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
