We are a full-service CPA firm providing comprehensive accounting, payroll, tax, advisory and related services to individual and business clients of all entity types spanning a wide range of industries.

We are looking for an accountant with experience to join our team. We are looking to hire an individual who will handle multiple tax and accounting engagements and build and maintain strong relationships with our clients.. Primary Responsibilities

• prepare individual and business tax returns, including individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates and non-profit organizations
• prepare general ledgers and related tax workpapers
• prepare tax projections for individual and business clients
• handle tax correspondence with Federal and State agencies
• build and maintain lasting relationships with clients

Qualifications

• Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
• 1 year minimum experience working in a public accounting firm
• CPA candidate or CPA with active license (preferred but not required)
• knowledge of accounting and tax principles
• attention to detail and dedication to quality and accuracy
• superior organization, time management and analytical skills
• excellent written and oral communication skills
• consistent demonstration of ethical behavior
• adherence to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
• ability to multitask and maintain poise and professionalism during fast-paced tax seasons
• dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a team mentality
• knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• knowledge and experience with industry specific software relating to bookkeeping and tax preparation, such as QuickBooks, UltraTax, Accounting CS (preferred but not required)

Benefits

• We expect pay for a person with at least one year of CPA firm experience to be about $22/hour. More experience and qualifications would be more. We pay time and 1/2 for overtime as well.

Pay: $22.00 - $36.00 per hour
