Jose Gancedo CPA, LLC is a growing CPA firm based in Hialeah, FL and is currently looking for a full/part time tax preparer/accountant to join our firm.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in growing in the accounting field. We are looking for someone who is personable, tech savvy, and enjoys building relationships with clients. We are also looking for someone who can work independently, manage their assigned workload, and roll up their sleeves to assist wherever help is needed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns and workpapers.
- Assist with bookkeeping.
- Collaborate weekly in team meetings on work assignments and workflow.
- Ability to build client relationships beyond numbers.
- Interested in supporting the growth of the firm through new ideas and innovations.
Requirements
- Experience with tax preparation software. (We use Drake software.)
- Experience with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks
- Familiarity with Excel and Word
- Organized, meticulous, and detail oriented.
- Able to clearly communicate with clients and fellow staff via email, phone, or video chat in a timely manner.
- Dedicated space where you can work distraction-free.
- Reliable internet access
- The schedule is flexible but the ability to work most of your hours during normal business hours (8am to 6pm Eastern Time Zone) is preferred.

Salary: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
