We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team for the 23/24 school year. Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments to identify students with communication difficulties
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide individual and group therapy services to students with speech and language difficulties, using a range of evidence-based interventions and techniques
- Work collaboratively with other members of the educational team, including teachers, administrators, and parents
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Participate in team meetings and conferences to discuss student progress, needs, and interventions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech and language pathology, and incorporate them into your practice
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited program
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in Maryland
- Experience working with students of all ages with a range of speech and language needs in a school setting
- Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals, including teachers, parents, and administrators
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to use technology for documentation, communication, and therapy purposes
