Apex Social is searching for Live-in Special Needs Childcare Provider to provide support and care for a child with special needs in a warm and loving family environment. The family values education and community involvement and has a busy household, but one that is full of fun and activity! The ideal candidate is independent and can work well with a child who has special needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent care for a child with special needs, including assistance with self-care skills, communication, and developmental goals
• Collaborate with therapists to follow up on therapy homework and implement strategies for success
• Assist in developing a weekly schedule that meets the needs of the child
• Travel with the family a few times a year
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the household
• Follow the family's rules for behavior and household maintenance

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children who have special needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow the family's rules and expectations
• US work authorization
• Willingness to relocate and live in the family's home
• Valid Driver's license

Our Host Families are seeking Live-In Special Needs Care Providers who are passionate about working with children with special needs and are looking to make a difference in their lives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
