Position Summary
Within the Interconnection Department, responsibilities will include working closely with utility companies, submitting applications to their databases to gain permission to operate systems within our pipeline.
We are seeking a Interconnection manager with excellent leadership and mentoring skills. Someone who is willing to work alongside of a team, takes initiative and sets an example for the department.
Qualifications
- Previous Solar experience in back office
- Previous Management or Supervisory experience
- Comfortable in a constantly changing environment and innovations of a start-up company
- Coachable
- Leadership skills
- Previous experience in training co staff
- High level of professionalism and positive attitude
- Dependable and reliable worker
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Flexible schedule
- Outgoing personality and intuitive problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills, ability to learn new software platforms quickly
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and G-Suite
- Strong work ethic
- Fluent Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
Job Duties:
- Manage PTO submission and approvals pipeline for the company
- Operationalize the interconnection process
- Oversee completion of applications for interconnection with the utilities
- Ensure systems meet utility requirements and get approvals in a timely manner.
- Direct the building of database of utility requirements pertaining to the interconnection of PV systems
- Provide Reporting and tracking timeline delays to leadership
- Adopt and roll out best practices for interconnection function
- Work collaboratively with other departments to implement interconnection processes
- Complete weekly and monthly reporting due to internal project managers and project owners.

Start rate dependent on experience

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
