Qualifications

High School Diploma

•

Minimum 5 years of experience construction safety

•

OSHA 30 Hour, Average of 8 hours of safety training every year

•

Candidates will need to be able to pass a background check to gain access to work on military bases

•

Responsibilities

•

Infrastructure: Site Development, Dams, Erosion Control, Storm Drains, Utilities, Water & Water Treatment

•

We are looking for an accountable project engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve

•

You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion

•

Supports the construction teams by actively engaging them in dialog about safety concerns and passionately working to find practical proactive solutions to create continuous safety improvement

•

Interacts Subcontractors, owners representatives, and other contractors on behalf of company to resolve safety challenges

•

Assists the construction teams in incident notification procedures and in conducting incident investigations to determine root cause and identify corrective actions

•

Works with the Superintendent to manage unsafe situations and to find a safe outcome

•

Develops and delivers safety training as needed for the projects

•

Leads morning tailgate safety meetings and morning stretching

•

Stays current with changes to the EM-385 and all OSHA compliant Regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,489.91 - $90,000.00 per year
