Our company is searching for a Site Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing plant. The Site Supervisor will assist with all aspects of plant operations, including supervising and coordinating plant activity, ensuring safety standards in place, performing quality assurance inspections and enforcing company policies. This position requires experience supervising employees and managing a variety of tasks simultaneously.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Direct total operations in the assigned department(s) to execute planned schedules to meet customer requirements. Maintain a safe work environment. Reduce scrap and machine downtime to the lowest level possible. Operate within the department budget and foster positive relationships between employees and management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drive flow of production through the departments to meet production schedules safely, on time and at a minimum cost.

2. Maintain the highest standard of quality.

3. Work closely with Production Control to complete orders and maintain appropriate inventory levels.

4. Provide shop floor leadership, including training, maintaining employee records, maintaining plant work rules and the current CBA.

5. Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls using Lean Manufacturing concepts and processes.

6. Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the departments.

7. Maintain department safety goals by conducting monthly employee safety meeting, audits and reviewing of company safety rules and procedures.

• 8 hour shift
