Sit Down Assembler

Amotec is currently recruiting for Assemblers in the Willoughby, Ohio area. These roles are with our client, a leader in the Manufacturing Industry. This is a sit-down position where applicants will be responsible for various types of wax assembly.

This Role Offers:

• Pay: $14 - 18/hr. depending upon shift and experience
• Shifts: 1st and 2nd

Job Description:

• Read, comprehend, and carry out tasks as described in daily schedules and written/visual procedures
• Handling and care of delicate wax pieces
• Apply standard processing functions to customer parts including: dress, pin, book, blend, apply coatings, assemble, etc..
• Measure and mark wax pieces using gages, fixtures, and templates
• Must be able to sit for 8-10 hours with breaks provided in 2 hour increments
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs

Other Requirements and Skills:

• Satisfactory reading and comprehension skills
• Manufacturing experience focused on delicate and detailed oriented work or an equivalent background in investment casting
• Knowledgeable of work instructions and quality procedures
• Requires exceptional vision and hand-eye coordination
• Soft and steady touch to maintain integrity of wax pieces
• Speed and accuracy of processing
