Shuttle Driver / Maintenance Assistance

Our Shuttle Drivers transport guests and their bikes, backpacks and/or dogs in a 15 passenger van from our location to trailheads. Shuttle Drivers also assist in all aspects of guest services as part of a small crew. The shuttle routes are restricted to particular routes and involves: helping guests with bicycles, completing shuttle forms, inspecting vehicles for safety, answering guest questions, communicating with other crew members, solving minor challenges, and obeying traffic rules.

Required:
Age 25 or more
Able to successfully pass a motor vehicle drivers record check
Ability to lift 50 pounds overhead
Great attitude and ability to work in all weather conditions
Able to change a tire on a truck or trailer
Knowledge of bicycle mechanics
Proficient at driving large vehicles with trailers
Friendly and Guest service oriented
Part time work - Weekday and Weekend shifts - usually two 6-8 hour shifts weekly
Cyclist background very helpful!
Knowledge of area trails, roads, routes, bailout points
Understanding of basic vehicle maintenance
Dependable and independent work ethic
Dependable transportation
Great, consistent communication skills on mobile devices
Non-smoking
Clean background

Auto mechanics
Basic carpentry and building repair

Other duties you may encounter:
Light cleaning/checking of bathhouses at start of shift
Vehicle maintenance checks
Basic maintenance of grounds/landscaping
Hot tub cleaning
Emptying garbage cans
Sorting recyclables
Bicycle repair if applicable
Stocking firewood
Reviewing trails and maps with guests
Organizing, cleaning, pressure cleaning

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
