PURPOSE OF POSITION:


Corning is seeking a highly experienced Service Delivery Owner, for Infrastructure Monitoring & Controls. This individual will be responsible for managing key applications and processes core to the effective monitoring and oversight of Corning’s Enterprise Infrastructure environments around the globe.


The Service Delivery Owner, for Infrastructure Monitoring & Controls will ensure that each application, tool or process meets demand, delivers controls, fulfills regulatory requirements and drives the expected business value at its promised cost.


The Service Delivery Owner, for Infrastructure Monitoring & Controls reports to the Chief of Staff for Global Infrastructure.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • The Service Delivery Owner (SDO) for Infrastructure Monitoring & Controls is responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation and ongoing support of Infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, to support a secure, stable, scalable, supportable and sustainable Corning infrastructure environment around the globe.
  • This person will define in partnership with Infrastructure Service Lines, key controls relevant to both ensuring high quality operational delivery as well as to fulfilling regulatory requirements pertinent for those devices and services.
  • The Service Delivery Owner (SDO) for Infrastructure Monitoring & Controls will build, implement, monitor and oversees control processes which demonstrate Corning’s ongoing infrastructure practices meet or exceed critical control levels.
  • The Service Delivery Owner (SDO) for Infrastructure Monitoring & Controls will lead and manage analysts and application support staff responsible for key monitoring applications, performance metrics and analytical reporting.
  • Ensures that monitoring and management tools under his/her supervision are appropriately secured, managed and protected to keep Corning’s Infrastructure environment safe.
  • Builds strong, credible and influential business partnerships to enable and drive change with key stakeholders. Fosters an environment of collaboration and teamwork between IT organizations and between IT and business teams to ensure creation of “best in class” Technology support.
  • Champions the monitoring and controls strategies and roadmaps jointly developed with the Infrastructure Service Lines, manages the implementation of the defined roadmaps that includes plans for expansions, modifications, maintenance, retirement, etc.
  • Partners with Service Level Management and business stakeholders to define, agree upon, and document Operational-Level Agreements (OLAs). Educates stakeholders on current and planned changes to the service.
  • Manages and monitors service pricing and profitability.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • BS in Computer science or related field. Advanced degree in Computer Science, Business or related field a plus
  • 7 years of experience leading teams managing large-scale global enterprise critical infrastructure device monitoring and management tools, including experience with two or more of the following: Compute, Network, Storage, Database.
  • 5 years of experience leading/assessing/reporting on/remediating IT infrastructure controls including device lifecycle, vulnerability, operations, and disaster recovery for a multi-vendor, complex enterprise environment with a global footprint.
  • 5 years of experience in directly managing a global infrastructure team for a large organization in a multi-country, multi-vendor environment.
  • 3 years of experience working directly with auditors and other controls review organizations.
  • 2 years of experience working with a global manufacturing company in an infrastructure/infrastructure support capacity.

REQUIRED SKILLS


  • Proven track record directly and successfully delivering infrastructure functions for a large organization in a multi-country, multi-vendor environment.
  • Extensive experience using and managing device monitoring and management applications.
  • Strong ability to quickly assess state of controls compliance, create gap assessment, build remediation plans, and track execution across multiple groups.
  • Strong communicator and leader with ability to lead teams directly as well as influence outcomes within cross-functional teams. Able to engage and connect across multiple constituencies in a way that positively influences service outcomes and steers toward change objectives.
  • Creative, innovative, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-starter with ability to coordinate and motivate cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrates effective organization, prioritization, planning and financial management skills, with ability to handle multiple and/or changing priorities. Adept at managing through change and driving team success.
  • Proven experience that demonstrates a track record of on time delivery within budget; ability to drive projects to successful conclusion using influencing tools.
  • Must have a passion for success. Must demonstrate a proven willingness to go the extra mile, to take on the things that need to be done and maintain a positive attitude that can adapt to change.
  • Ability to lead international teams across multiple initiatives that span various lines of business, geographic borders, time zones, and cultures.
  • Ability to demonstrates excellent financial acuity, proven ability to drive value – high service quality per unit of cost.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE


  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Business or related field a plus
  • ITIL foundation certification
  • Experience with IT controls frameworks including ITIL, COBIT, COSO, CMMC, CISA TSS, ETSI and ISA/IEC 62443

POSITION LOCATION


  • The Service Delivery Owner (SDO) for Infrastructure Monitoring & Controls is able to work in either the Corning, NY area, Charlotte, NC metro area, or remotely within the United States.

The salary range for this position is $123,202.00 - $169,403.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
