JOB OBJECTIVE: To bring the Red Lobster promise of a refreshing seaside dining experience to life for our guests by provid ing friendly attentive service that allows our guests to relax and reconnect with the people they care about. Greet each guest with eye contact and a smile. Genuinely connect with them following RL standards. Take orders accurately and ensure food and drink are served promptly ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Upholds the Red Lobster Crew Promise by living our core values: respect – treating others with dignity, recognizing everyone’s contributions, embracing diversity (e.g., takes the time to listen to guests and crew, shows appreciation to others) integrity – being open and honest with ourselves and others, always doing the right thing (e.g., does the right things even when it’s easier not to, owns up to mistakes) genuine caring – listening and seeking to understand, seeing to the well-being of others (e.g., learning names of guests and crew, being involved in the community) hospitality – making every guest feel welcome and special, anticipating their needs (e.g. shows concern, sees to the well being of others) teamwork – helping each other learn, grow and accomplish more than we could on our own (e.g., seeks ways to help others do their jobs, ensures that everything is always ready for the next shift) Adheres to standards: • Attendance – arrives to work on time and ready to work for all scheduled shifts • Dress and appearance – smiles and is friendly, is neat and well groomed • Self-responsibility – knows every aspect of the job and does it well, takes initiative and follows through on all tasks, never turns head on a standard • Safe and clean work environment – practices good personal hygiene, follows all crew safety practices (hand washing, spills and breakage, lifting, chemical safety) Executes the Server position: • Properly cleans and sets up station (stocks supplies using first in, first out – new items in back) Standards and Procedures: • Greets and connects with guests at the table using RL established guidelines • Correctly takes and enters guests orders • Delivers food and beverage orders promptly • Checks back to ensure guest is completely satisfied • Delivers checks promptly, settles checks, thanks guests and invites them to return • Performs additional duties as assigned Closing Duties: • Completes assigned side work • Checks out with a manager at the end of their shift MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: • Able to communicate (verbally and in writing) in English • Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol according to state/municipal law. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: • Able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 30 lbs. to waist level throughout an 8 hour shift • Able to move items up to 30 lbs.. for distances up to 25 feet • Able to remain standing and active for an 8-12 hour shift • Able to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures (above 90 degrees) • Able to hear, understand and respond to guest and crew members requests in a loud environment • Able to tolerate exposure to and/or contact with seafood without an allergic reaction or sensitivity • Able to tolerate exposure to chlorine sanitation solutions

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
