A mental health services organization on Long Island is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their team in Nassau County as their new Senior Residential Supervisor.

- Setting: Group home
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Patient Population: OPWDD population
- Patient Volume: 6 to 8 per site (max 10)
The Senior Residential Supervisor will:
- Act as an advocate for residents in a variety of situations and teach them new life skills
- Ensure that all supports and services provided are in alignment and designed to meet the needs of the people living in the residence
- Interview, hire, develop and retain high quality staff and oversee Residential Supervisors and other assigned team members
- Address performance issues through performance improvement or corrective action measures
- Ensure residence and individual finances are balanced and in compliance
- Ensure that all required documentation is completed /processed appropriately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate, support, attend and participate in all required events/ meetings/ reviews/ committees, including ones outside of standard working hours
- Maintain the confidentiality of any information relating to individuals and employees of the organization
- Ensure that the residence, including the external property, is clean, safe and attractive at all times
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 1+ year of experience working with the Disabled population
- High School Diploma / GED
- Experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory role
- Computer savvy
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Associate's and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and/or related field
