Senior Product Safety Specialist
Job description
Bath & Body Works is looking for a Senior Product Safety Specialist to join our team! This role is accountable for managing the safety science within assigned product categories and/or brands. The Senior Product Safety Specialist will be the key subject matter expert and responsible for delivering safety assessments for raw materials and the overall finished product to ensure global safety requirements are met.
- Accountable for conducting toxicology reviews and exposure assessments to support safety assessments for raw materials and finished product for the categories/brands assigned
- Prepare cosmetic product safety reports within project timelines to ensure compliance within applicable markets
- Optimize work processes to drive greater efficiency and alignment with cross functional partners
- Collaborate with key cross-functional partners including Product Development, Formula & Data Integrity, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Safety to provide safety-related support
- Attend key internal cross-functional meetings and communicate Product Safety positions to partners
- Provide support for special projects as assigned

Qualifications
- M.S. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biology, Chemistry or related majors with 3-5 years of
- Knowledge of safety assessment principles and cosmetic safety requirements
- Ability to establish collaborative relationships
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Excellent communication skills
