CenterPoint Energy is looking for a Senior Process Improvement Analyst to join our Materials and Warehouse Team, located in Houston, TX.
Summary:
The Senior Process Improvement Analyst will take a central role in Materials and Warehouse initiatives, helping to identify, drive, and support the strategy forward through implementation. These projects include, but are not limited to cost reduction initiatives, inventory optimization, data integrity and analytics, process optimization, and system implementations/upgrades/patches.

What you will be doing:
- Independently lead multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
- Facilitation of project-based planning and management meetings for business unit.
- Develop measures, and other controls for processes and projects.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data produced and results reported.
- Work closely with the Materials and Warehouse Directors and functional managers to develop KPIs and success metrics.
- Maintain and report on applicable Fleet Electrification Data
- Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams to create standardized processes and implement continuous improvement in support of business unit plans, ensuring proper planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation for results.
- Develop business cases and project plans using company standards.
- Lead efforts to re-design processes and procedures demonstrating advanced analytical skills and creative solution planning.
- Present team outcomes to peers and management for review, comment, and approval, overcoming barriers and addressing concerns.
- Stays abreast of internal business objectives as well as industry related market intelligence.
- Regularly develop and add to own skills and mentor and develop team members.
- Effectively communicate business critical information with a variety of stakeholders to include senior leadership, taking ownership and accountability for project outcomes supporting a values-based culture
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required. Six sigma certification preferred.
Experience:
- Five (5) years in project management, organization change management and/or relevant experience required with a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with project management preferred.
