Senior Hardware Engineer
Mount Laurel, New Jersey

Electronic Warfare Associates (EWA) Government Systems, Inc. (GSI) is seeking a Senior-level Hardware Engineer to join the hardware engineering group located in Mount Laurel, NJ. The Senior Hardware Engineer will design and test radar sub-systems in support of DoD and international customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work on radar programs supporting all phases of development from requirements generation through hardware and firmware design, fabrication, integration, and test.

Senior Hardware Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Board and chassis-level analog and RF design (50 MHz-20 GHz).
  • Work projects from requirements through integration.
  • Understand RF gain and noise performance.
  • Complete associated design documentation, test plans, test procedures, test reports.
  • Interface with systems and software engineering groups to facilitate integration and testing of complex subsystems.
  • Designs may involve RF PCB designs as well as connectorized component chassis-level designs.
  • Mentor younger engineers.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5-15 years of related Hardware design experience.
  • Proficient with RF test equipment.
  • Able to troubleshoot complex subsystems.
  • Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Able to travel to support occasional site integration-related activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Secret US Security Clearance (within past 2 years of start date)
  • Experience with analyzing circuit performance with tools such as, ANSYS HFSS or Microwave Office.
  • MSEE
