Job description
The senior data analyst is responsible for advancing process improvements to increase the speed in which the
data collection team organizes and analyzes data to ensure consistent, timely and accurate data that the
business can rely on for quality reporting when planning, forecasting, and doing other various data driven
business decisions. This role requires the senior analyst to be the first point of contact to train the data
analysts on existing processes and processes being improved. This position is also responsible for creating and
updating training material including SOPs, MU courses, and any additional presentations needed for training.
The senior data analyst works with large data sets that require problem-solving skills and the ability to identify
and determines best practices to develop better insights for current business processes. This position is
required to thoroughly understand the various reporting and data systems within Monster and make
recommendations for improvements as necessary, with key focus on volume reporting reconciliation and call
point management. The senior data collection analyst acts as a subject matter expert on various business
initiatives to provide guidance as necessary for data collection and the governance of. This role mentors a
small team of data analyst.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and/or improve standardized audits and information processes to promote data reporting
accuracy, consistency, and integrity - Develop and execute solutions with customer account manager (e.g. National Account, Regional
Account Team) and finance partners in order to meet identified business needs - Establish positive working relationships with internal and external constituents
- Run periodic queries using the appropriate reporting systems to create and distribute reports.
- Review methodology, inputs, and compliance with policies and procedures to ensure accuracy of reporting.
- Managing processes related to the validation of sales volume and other data elements from Distributors, Retailers, and various 3rd Parties
- Development and maintenance of Customer Hierarchies that enable functions such as, sales reporting and financial accruals, etc.
- Protect information provided in confidence from outside sources (bottlers and other business partners)
and ensure this information is not disseminated to any unauthorized parties. - Protect information and materials provided to third parties (e.g., consultants, vendors, suppliers,
bottlers) by ensuring appropriate procedures are followed and parties are bound by company
confidentiality agreements as necessary - Create and distribute ad-hoc reports, standard reports, and dashboards based on requestor’s detailed
requirements. - Meet with constituents to understand needs, finds ways to resolve issues, and creatively offers solutions
to complex business opportunities. - Participate in team meetings and make recommendations to improve processes.
- Business and technical issue resolution - identify and mitigate issues, working with stakeholders on
resolutions as needed - Use large sets of data to identify and resolve issues before they have an adverse effect
- Review and explain technical requirements to internal and external customers
- Cultivate a positive working relationship with bottlers and internal teams
- Identify, research, and communicate data related issues to the necessary parties for proper resolution
- Supports Leadership with ad-hock assignments
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in statistics, computer science, or business administration
- Proficient in macro development, data software’s and programs (VBA and SQL)
- 3+ years of in-depth analytical experience and use of reporting tools and data large data sets
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets to arrange, manipulate, format, and prepare large amounts of information.
- Highly effective analytical and problem-solving skills - Sees multiple relationships between different sources of
data, identifying several likely causes or consequences of a situation. - Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.), PowerBI
- Thorough understanding of Big Data Analytics and processes
- Possesses strong leadership potential
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to identify issues within highly detailed data
- Conceptual Thinking – ability to see patterns or trends in data or situations
- Ability to respond to ad hoc requests accurately and in a timely manner
- Ability to use and learn a variety of query and reporting tools
- Must be adaptable, able to handle unexpected challenges, coordinate across multiple individuals and teams, and
appropriately prioritize the needs of the department - Able to manipulate large amounts of non-standard data using Excel into a standard format
- Proficient level of business English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Establish, cultivate, and maintain positive and beneficial working relationships with others
- Providing excellent customers service with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; decision making and problem solving

Pay Range: $67,700k - $80,000k
