This new role is designed to accelerate growth tied to sustainability for K-C North America (KCNA), while specifically leading business transforming innovation initiatives that are sustainability-led across Family Care (FC). This is some of the most critical work to ensure a sustainable future for our brands and the world in which we live. As the Senior Brand Manager, you will lead and influence cross-functional partners in a matrix organization to include R&E, Product Supply, Insights & Analytics, RGM, Design, Packaging, Sales, Shopper and Global.
In this role you will:
Elevate sustainability as a growth driver for the entire KCNA organization, serving as lead marketer on the KCNA Sustainability Governance Team to drive the regional strategy, brand-level accountability, and elevated capabilities in partnership with functional SMEs
Direct sustainability-related product, packaging and promise innovation work across Family Care Sector, guiding brand teams & functional SMEs to maximize consumer, customer, and environmental impact, enabling our stated sustainability goals
Unlock and accelerate sustainability-forward innovation big bets that elevate the consumer experience while transforming business models to deliver sustainable, profitable growth for the Family Care Sector
Serve as key marketing leader in up to two “battle” workstreams leveraging agile ways of working to drive progress at pace against these innovation big bets
Lead development and validation of breakthrough concepts, winning products & claims, and packaging, designing for every touchpoint of the consumer experience
Direct end-to-end business model development tied to innovation programs including P&L, PPA, channel strategy, supply, sourcing, and IP
Co-lead development of 3 Year Strategic Brand Plan (SBP) and 5+ year Portfolio in partnership with category S&I peers, accountable for business transformation innovation and brand-level sustainability plans
Lead development and cascade of big bet innovation programs; lead brief development and guide in-market execution in partnership with BU Marketing and Cross Functional Partners
Leverage knowledge of P&L and collaborate with finance and other partners to bring forward real time recommendations that protect net sales and operating profit goals while solving issues facing the business
Identify and lead process improvements at the brand or portfolio level
Key liaison with channel and sales strategy as voice of the consumer, brand, and sustainability subject matter expert
Drive development of channel specific go-to-market strategies and plans to maximize presence in market (includes category management, shelving, and assortment strategies)
Champion for Design Thinking and agile methodologies across KCNA

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in business/marketing. Masters/ MBA with concentration in Marketing degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in marketing with brand management (CPG preferred) and experience in the following areas: P&L management; development and execution of brand marketing; cross- functional knowledge; direct experience in all various aspects of business including manufacturing, product & technology development, and product supply.
Solid understanding of annual business planning, budget setting, and subsequent execution of those plans to delivery results.
Strong understanding of brand foundational tools, consumer insight identification, segmentation, and target development.
Strong command of and experience in developing brand positioning and brand strategy.
Proven concept & Brief writing experience of both product innovation and renovation and commercial news.
Proven capability to lead in a matrix organization driving collaboration across businesses and functions.
Proven track record to inspire, motivate and coach creative teams to deliver high performance.
Demonstrated capability in leading agency partners in long-term projects.
Ability to pull insights from multiple sources and synthesize into a compelling story for change.
Strong skills and experience with diagnosing and resolving complex problems and opportunities.
Entrepreneur with a growth mindset and can-do attitude to find ways to break down barriers.
Powerful storyteller who can effectively represent brand internally and externally.
