Position Overview:

Supports the Strategic Sourcing team to source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage Supplier relationships to meet Tiffany & Co.’s internal manufacturing production plan. Provides input and analysis to support the development and onboarding of both Direct and Indirect Suppliers.

Key Accountabilities:

• Supports Make vs. Buy supplier selection activities.
• Communicates with divisional counterparts to meet the function’s overall strategy while contributing to value enhancement
• Works with team members to seek cost reduction and process improvement opportunities – engage suppliers in the process.
• Helps in the execution of Strategic Sourcing strategies and activities using strategic sourcing processes and approaches for assigned categories/sub-categories.
• Partners with Supplier Compliance Director on all Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and goals.
• Ad hoc projects as assigned
• Continuously supports Tiffany &Co.’s Jewelry Supply sourcing plan and other key performance metrics.
• Creates and develops reports and analyses to meet the needs of the business. Shares result with Management and identify recommendations.
• Analyzes current metrics and pursue improvements and new metrics
• Conducts supplier market analysis, category analysis, and category risk analysis.
• Input quarterly data into Credit360 for Sustainability results on metal. Ensures data integrity for these results.
• Develops and maintains vendor scorecards.
• Ensures effective risk and compliance management concerning the Supplier onboarding process and documentation (NDA, MVA, COI, etc.)
• Plans category supply strategies and plans and conducts sourcing projects by engaging stakeholders and the required cross-functional resources
• Works with cross-functional project teams such as New Product Development to achieve optimal timing for new product launches.
• Other Ad hoc projects and duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate safety leadership by adhering to workplace safety policies and procedures. Recognize and positively reinforce good safety behaviors while delivering immediate, specific, and constructive feedback to employees who demonstrate unsafe work behavior.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Demonstrated experience in conducting category management or strategic sourcing initiatives
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Advanced MS Office computer skills – specifically Excel and Access
• Strong organizational, verbal communication, writing, and negotiation skills
• Strong Problem-solving and analytics skills, strong work ethic
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
• Project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree
• High-end jewelry manufacturing experience

Professional qualification/certification from a related professional body (ISM – CPM / CSCP or CPIM, APICS)
