Facility Manager Job Description

The facility manager is critical to the success of the Gray Line Storage mission. The facility manager is responsible for the efficient operation of one or more self-storage facilities. Duties include ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and secure, controlling delinquencies, performing required custodial and minor maintenance functions and other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily functions of running the self-storage facility in accordance with company standards:
• Complete daily walk thru inspections, checking locks and cleaning units as needed
• Utilize the company lock process as instructed
• Resolve any customer issues effectively and in a timely manner
• Follow company processes
• Monitor the physical condition of the facility and report maintenance requirements and needs
• Keep office and restroom clean and organized
• Maintain exterior areas and grounds attractive and free of debris.
• Lock out non-paying customers and unlock their units when their bill is fully paid
• Escort vendors around the facility when there is required maintenance
