Position Summary:

Security Operations Manager that is responsible for overall security department, staffing, scheduling, and training for all Security Associate professionals within Command Center Site throughout Southern Nevada, Reno, and Utah. Maintains regular communications with Security Associates professionals as well as DLC 3rd party security company. Manages day to day Dollar Loan Center stores security monitoring and rapid responds to any security issues. This position will report to the Security Director working closely on security compliance and policy and procedures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains regular proactive contact with Security Associate Professionals to ensure all staff is being effectively utilized, properly trained, and ready to support all phases of the security operations.
  • Maintains high employee morale through effective and proactive communications and timely problem resolution. Ensures all hiring, counseling, disciplinary and termination procedures are executed in a consistent manner.
  • Ensures a smooth-running regional operation by enforcing specific policies and procedures through proper communication and training.
  • Maintains a well-organized, clean, and effective working area, and ensures all daily, weekly, and bi-weekly deadlines are consistently met.
  • Prepares and runs all required reports as directed by managers, reviews such reports in a timely manner with the management team, and takes appropriate action as necessary to address any report discrepancies or operational issues.
  • Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines. Must demonstrate a high level of integrity, and apply rules, policies, and employment actions in a consistent, fair, and equitable manner in all situations.
  • Performs additional projects or tasks as may be directed by the Security Director or Managing Director management members.
  • Be able to trouble shoot camera's, recording hardware and wall screen desktops.
  • Be able to setup and configure security applications and maintain updates.

Requirements for Education and/or Experience:

  • Prior security industry and/or military experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional-level experience required, managing employees in a fast-paced, service organization. Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, military and/or customer service highly desired. Experience in scheduling, operations and/or employee management in a service-related industry a significant plus.
  • Require a current state driver's license and can safely operate company vehicle.
  • Ability to write effective and concise reports and document investigations and counseling sessions. Must be able to effectively communicate coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions, as well as termination meetings in a professional manner in accordance with company standards.
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Hardware technical background.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience using relevant technology and equipment.
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Committed and reliable.

Abilities:

Able to maintain the safety and security of the organization, inspecting facility's condition, the performance of operational tools and equipment, and the compliance of workstream processes to the safety regulations and protocols of the company. Requires the ability to gather and analyze facts, to devise solutions to problems, to prepare clear and concise reports, follow instructions, attention to details and to perform with a high level of accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance. Ability to work in a team environment; work effectively with others, provide effective client service and public relations, display strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, organize, prioritize, research, and plan. Ability to correctly interpret, explain and apply policies and procedures, understand, and follow oral and written instructions, ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; ability to interact with a variety of individuals from socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds in sensitive or difficult situations.


Requires repetitive movement, sitting, writing letters and memos, face-to-face discussions with individuals or teams, use of electronic mail, telephone conversations, contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise). Requires repeating the same physical activities or mental activities over and over; requires being exact or highly accurate, requires meeting strict deadlines. Requires work with external providers, customers or the public, work with others in a group or team, coordinating or leading others in accomplishing work activities. Requires travel to multiple sites and locations.


Work Environment:

Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people. Travel to multiple sites.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; on occasion, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
