Position Overview:
ANSER is seeking a Security Analyst to work onsite in Arlington, VA in support of the Director, Security & Facilities within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)) by supporting security processes and actions related to personnel, physical, information, industrial, and operational security.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development, management, and sustainment of the OUSD(A&S) security program.
- Coordinating, executing, and monitoring OUSD(A&S) information, physical, personnel, and classified document security.
- Reviewing and assisting with the preparation of DD Form 254s for classified OUSD(A&S) contracts.
- Advising on appropriate information security guidelines and policies.
- Facilitating the transmission of OUSD(A&S) personnel security clearances/visit requests to US Government Agencies, the Services, and International Partners and the receipt of visit requests for incoming personnel and visitors.
- Ensuring physical security of all OUSD(A&S) spaces, including adding and deleting access to alarm and swipe access to open storage classified workspaces.
- Processing OUSD(A&S) requests for Common Access Cards, building access permissions, computer accounts, etc. by verifying clearance level and facilitating security endorsement.
Required Qualifications:
- TS/SCI security clearance upon start.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency using JPAS/DISS.
- Experience with personnel security to include submitting clearance requests, clearance validation, visitor access requests (VARs), and badging.
- Experience managing physical security of classified and unclassified office spaces.
- Experience supporting information, industrial, and operational security programs.
Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):
- 2+ years of Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)-level experience.
