  Position: Seasonal Employee –Onocology Summer Intern

• Location: Skokie, IL

• Full Time/Part Time: Resource, Part Time

• Hours: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

• Required Travel: Within NorthShore sites

What you will need:

• Education: Courses in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree (preferably in social, biological or healthcare sciences)

• Certification: N/A

• Experience:

• Skills: Excellent organization, time management, problem solving and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Ability to interact in a professional and sensitive manner with medical personnel, research subjects, and other research staff. Must be able to work independently or with minimal supervision, and show initiative. Basic computer skills required, experience with Excel preferred

What you will do:

• Collect, review and report on data for one or more pilot projects

• Enter computer data into file

• Literature review

• Abstract charts

• Assist in preparation of materials for presentation and publication

• Create patient education materials for Oncology patients - and update clinic website with education materials
