Role: SAP BASIS Release Manager - Sr. Manager

Location: Hybrid work schedule: 2 days per week working out of Rahway, NJ

Duration: Full Time only - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Job summary:
Senior Lead with Basis background that can work with key Client, Cognizant stakeholders on System Planning, outlining upcoming project plans, Firm & own the release calendars/schedules, coordinate with various teams on system release upgrades (like SPS, FPS upgrades), Release Cutover & Hypercare management, patching (Kernel, DB, OS), Stakeholder governance.

Job responsibilities:
Overall 12+ years of experience, of which minimum 7+ years working on SAP BASIS, 5 years of experience in release management coordinating releases in SAP space.
Good understanding of Windows, Linux, AIX, Unix OS’s Database with HANA, Sybase, DB2, DB on Cloud.
Understanding of SAP HANA Database installations/upgrades, BW on HANA installation and implementations.
Knowledge in AWS cloud platform, Solution Manager 7.2, LAMA.
Solid grasp of maintaining HANA databases, SAP Patch, and service stack upgrades.
Working expertise using SAP NetWeaver Products/Hana/BOBJ, Suite on Hana
Handle system performance, upgrades, corrections, and transport management (CTS/TMS), client and landscape strategies, batch scheduling.
Good Knowledge on AWS / Azure.
Expertise in Release & Cutover management, hyper care support.
Very good understanding Change, Transport Management process.
Should be able to guide teams to release calendar and coordinate release cycles.

Minimum Qualifications:
Overall 12+ years of experience, of which minimum 7+ years working on SAP BASIS
5+ years of experience in release management coordinating releases in SAP space
